Antigua and Barbuda Music Festival - Romantic Rhythms

St. John’s Antigua, January 22, 2008 --- Antigua and Barbuda, award winning destination for Weddings and Honeymoons, will burst onto the entertainment scene as the epitome of romance, when The Romantic Rhythms Festival is launched during the month of June 2008. Music aficionados will fall in love as the lyrical beauty engulfs the entire destination, spreading peace, love and unity to locals and visitors alike.

This International Music Festival will be launched June 12 – 15 and offer visitors an experience as they indulge all of their senses in the allure of Antigua and Barbuda. More than just a music festival… Romantic Rhythms will offer a unique opportunity to sample the cuisine, heritage, culture and attractions of these “Love Islands.”

Featuring an impressive slate of performers from across the globe, including our very own backyard of Caribbean and South American, and an impressive line-up of vocal and instrumental performances, this festival will romance throngs of ole school and modern day music enthusiasts at candlelit concerts and other intimate settings throughout the destination.

Two exotic concerts will be hosted at the scenic Sir Vivian Richards Stadium and a barefoot, shore side concert against sunset views at Russell’s, Fort James. A variety of special events and romance packages are also being planned to enhance this exhilarating summer experience that is designed to elicit treasured memories.
