Antigua Sailing Week 2009

The 42nd Antigua Sailing Week, got off to a great start on Sunday April 26th with the Around The Island Race that ended up at Fort James Beach.

Lots of persons gathered at Fort James late into the evening for the Annual Sailing Week Beach Bash which is organised by the Ministry of Tourism.

I enjoy the whole atmosphere created at these events, and its fun to see persons coming out to enjoy the live bands, and the grilled seafood and bbq and just basically lime with their friends and families.

Me - I spent the day by the inflatable rides - the bucking bull, giant slide and dragon something - working though, nothing else...oohh and i got to meet Rocky from Search Antigua.
