For my mom: Tropical Flowers

On my last trip home, I found my mom playing with her new toy - the name I can't remember now, but it's one of those very cool touch screen computer things that have seemingly replaced the good old-fashioned laptop.  Anyway, she was on the internet searching for different varieties of the Hibiscus.  In between her oohing and aahing, she was also commenting on the new varieties of hibiscuses (is that a word) she would need to get.  I said "Mom don't you think you have enough flowers already!?!"

I thought I would prove a point by taking a photo of every plant in the garden.  You will see some photos below, believe me - this is not even half..I just got really tired, with all the different types of hibiscuses.  If you get through all the photos, you'll also see some from my neighbourhood in the UK, and from a bouquet I received recently :) I would also have shown you a photo of my orchid, but I'm despite all my efforts, nuturing, talking to, and probably over-watering, my dear "Orchidia" is basically on her last leaf as we speak...
